Philosophy and Movement ONE

Hello fine people. I just got back from an Aikido seminar last night. The interesting thing about the seminar was that it was about how to apply the principles of Aikido to your technique. In other words; checking to make sure that the philosophy of Aikido matches the physical expression. For example; are you really moving in harmony and in connection with your “uke” throughout the technique? Let’s use this practice for this week to build a higher level of awareness in the philosophy equaling movement.

This week at the Dojo:

***Thursday: Train at Your Level Day in all of the classes.

***Thursday: Advanced seminar at 12noon, and 7pm for the ranks of 2nd & 1st Kyus (regular class is still going on at that time)

***Saturday: Sempai training after regular morning class at 10:40am.

***8pm classes Monday through Friday have Black Belts waiting to help you on any part of your training that you need

Just a reminder of the CAA training on the 27,th and 28th. You will need to attend at least one of these trainings before going for your Shodan.(black belt)

Sometimes it takes courage to hang in there and keep going to higher levels of training. Tell yourself, I can do it! And you can do it! Vince Sensei
