On September 12 , several dojo members participated in an exciting demo during the Japanese Student Action Network's annual fundraising/cultural event at UNR. Sensei and his students, both youth and adults, wowed the crowd with the spirit, philosophy and dynamic movement of Aikido.
The very next day, Sensei and some more of his willing students went out to Damonte Ranch High School to help support the American Lung Association's annual Asthma Walk and awareness day. Everyone had a lot of fun showing the audience what a healthy practice Aikido can be.
